"Mr. Hopkins, by his first entertainment this season, reasserted his presence in the field in which he has labored for some years already. His Orpheon schools, we are glad to learn, are prospering, and while the excellent results achieved by their teachings become more and more apparent, we note with satisfaction that the public is awakening to a sense of gratitude toward the artist whose unselfish toil has made the institution as stable as it was from the first useful. The concerts this season appear at Apollo Hall, and the value of the instruction Mr. Hopkins imparts is fully shown at any one of the series.”
