“At the Globe Theatre, during the past week, good business has rewarded the efforts of the performers. Mr. J. H. Milburn made a decided hit in a ladies’ song, entitled ‘Croquet,’ which he sang in female attire, and was very successful in imitating the manners and graces of the fair sex. The Watson Brothers performed some clever feats upon the horizontal bar. Harrigan and Rickey were very comical in an act entitled ‘The Mulcahey Twins.” Miss Laura Bernard sang several serio-comic songs to the satisfaction of the audience, and the remaining artists of the company appeared in various specialties.”
