“The Association refers with intense gratification to the character and attractiveness of the seven concerts already given, with a pledge that the programme of the forthcoming ones, under the direction of T.E. Richardson, will surpass them in interest and variety, the very best musical talent having been secured for these occasions. The price of tickets, as heretofore, will be one dollar, and a present worth, from the price of the ticket, to five hundred dollars. Tickets will be good for either Concert, at the option of the buyer, and the present in variably delivered upon the purchase of the ticket.” The other concert to which this advertisement refers is the New-York Jewelers’ Association Presentation Concert: 9th, 12/31/1864.
Concerts will be given on December 24th and 31st.
“Items to be given away include gold and silver watches, diamonds, earrings, broaches, bracelets, rings, silver cake baskets, card cases, pianos, and sewing machines.”
“The Manufacturing Jewellers’ Association of this city commences the third series of their Gift Concerts this evening. The sale of tickets commenced on Monday, the 12th inst., for the Eighth and Ninth Concerts.
