Part of announcement for the Bateman concert on 09/26. “Mr. Dannreuther, the pianist, is rapidly advancing in public favor. His style is exceedingly good and musician-like. Weber’s ‘Invitation to the Dance’ was played very brilliantly by this gentleman on Saturday evening—being by far the best effort we have heard at his hands. Mr. Carl Rosa, the violinist, is a very pleasing performer, and is already a favorite with the audiences. We need scarcely add that Mr. Theo. Thomas and his orchestra contribute materially to the pleasure of these entertainments.”

Review and announcement. “the Bateman concerts.

In consequence of the great success which has attended the three last concerts, due to the splendid vocalism of Mlle. Parepa, Mr. Bateman has determined to remain a week longer in New-York. The increasing desire to hear Mlle. Parepa warrants this conclusion.”
