Review: New-York Daily Tribune, 26 February 1866, 4.

“The above program having been completed with great satisfaction, and as each song was finished and the execution of the different difficult pieces on the piano-forte and organ were concluded, round after round of applause followed, and the participants in the entertainments of the evening were then shown into the supper room. . . . Supper over, the party [which numbered about 350] repaired to the ball-room, where an order of dancing, comprising 14 selections, was gone through with to the music of Grafulla’s Seventh Regiment Band.”
