“San Francisco Hall is the name of a place of amusement lately opened at 53 Bowery, opposite the Old Bowery Theatre, under the management of Dan Collins, Billy Blair and Prof. Benjamin. A miscellaneous performance is given, and the style of entertainment seems to please, judging by the enthusiasm of the audience. The company engaged consists of Dick Berthelon, Prof. Benjamin, H. Clark, Miss Nellie Huntley, Miss Ogarita Barker, William Blair, M. T. Prendergast, Mast. Tommy, Dan W. Collins, T. Johnson, Mast. Buckley and Miss Clara May. It is doing a pretty good business, and next to Tony Pastor’s Opera House, is a favorite resort of the Bowery boys.”
