“The Rose of Castille was given again by the Richings troupe at the Olympic theatre last evening before a large audience. Miss Richings, although suffering from a severe cold, acquitted herself very creditably, and with the admirable support of Mrs. Seguin, Castle, Campbell, Seguin and Wylie, the opera passed off satisfactorily. The beautiful finale of the first act was given with marked effect. The troupe has met with unparalleled success so far, and it is a pity that their Philadelphia engagement for the next month interferes with their flattering prospects here.”
