Lotti’s Concert.—Signor Lotti, one of the most conscientious artists we have with us, is about to go to Europe. To-night he gives a farewell concert, assisted by able and popular musicians, at Steinway Hall. We trust he will have a bumper.”

Review: New-Yorker Staats-Zeitung und Herold, 05 March 1867, 8.

“The terrible condition of the streets and the rainy weather limited attendance. Lotti’s voice has gained in fullness and strength. He performed the above pieces rather well, except for some parts of Faust’s romance, in which he forced his voice too much. The solo in Abt’s piece was sung excellently by him. Mollenhauer’s fantasy caprice was designed to emphasize the technical skill of a virtuoso. Pattison performed Chopin with accuracy and technical perfection.”
