“…Miss Livingston gave a concert last night at Steinway Hall for the Southern Relief fund. She was assisted by Miss Nettie Sterling, contralto, Miss Lizzie Allen, Mr. George W. Morgan, whose organ matinée took place the same day at the same hall. Mr. Oscar M. Newell, pianist, a promising pupil of Mr. Pattison, Mr. Colby, the well known accompanist, and Miss Matilda Toedt, violinist. The programme comprised selections from Mozart, Wely, Guercia, Pattison, Auber, Donizetti, &c., and was in general very well rendered.”
