“This evening Miss Mina Geary, the favorite soprano of the concert-room, will give her farewell concert at Irving Hall.  She will be assisted by a host of artists.  In the programme, which is very full, and promises an excellent musical feast, we perceive that there is an elegiac ode on the death of Mr. Lincoln, arranged as a quartette, and solos, written by Mr. George Cooper, and composed by Mr. J.R. Thomas, who will sing the solo parts on this occasion.”
