Program Details

The “entire companies of” Wallack’s Theatre, Winter Garden, New Bowery Theatre, Barnum’s Museum, Dobson Brothers, Hooley’s Minstrels (N.Y.), Hooley’s Minstrels (Brooklyn), Olympic Theatre, Niblo’s Theatre, Old Bowery Theatre, Broadway Theatre, and Park Theatre participated in the concert. Theodore Moss also volunteered, but in what capacity it is unknown.

Following The Day after the Wedding, Hooley’s Minstrels performed a two-part program; the first part by Hooley’s Minstrels N.Y., the second part by Hooley’s Minstrels Brooklyn. J. W. Hilton, Cool Burgess, T. B. Prendergast, W. S. Budworth, Louis Nevers, and Griffin are all members of Hooley’s Minstrels. N. B. Clarke was stage manager for the event.
